I am a mom of two girls, Taylor and Kendall, who are 7 and 2. My husband and I love to spend time with our girls and we often have a lot to laugh about! We are all big Packer fans and also enjoy watching Taylor play soccer. I have been teaching Spanish (and various other subjects) at Lumen Christi for 12 years. Over the years, I have been passed through the grades as a homeroom teacher from 5th grade all the way to 8th grade. Next year will be my fourth year as an 8th grade homeroom teacher.
What did I already know?
I already knew bits and pieces about wikis, GarageBand, and iTunes, but this allowed me the opportunity to practice with each of them and become more familiar with the various features and ultimately more comfortable with using the applications. What did I learn new?
I am fascinated with all of the information available (for free!) on iTunes. I had no idea that there were so many resources and several appeared to directly relate to my subject area. What do I need to learn?
There are so many technology tools available, I'm not even sure that I know what I need to learn!! I would just like to stay on top of what is most relevant for education and I'm hoping to be able to walk away with a finished project that I can utilize next year.
